Book Giveaway, Day 3

The dawn arose this morning with a yawn, unaware it was heralding in a momentous event. For those of us living in the United States of America, this is the day we select the team who will be leading this great country for another four years.

From sea to shining sea, America is voting.

Today I am thankful to live in such a country. Uncle Sam began over two hundred years ago as a radical experiment in the exercise of freedom and has risen to become the most powerful nation on earth.

As we go to the polls, we are keenly aware that our ship of state sails in stormy seas. In an hour such as this, we need leadership that is wise, decisive, and holy.

We need Jesus.

May He guide the hand of each voter, and may we support in prayer the leaders who are ushered into power today.

They'll need it.
